Stealing means to make it yours.
As Picasso said: "Good artists copy, great artists steal." Which essentially means great artists don't simply paint what they see, they bring their own touch.
And this also applies to building great solutions: Most problems have already been solved by people who have thought deeply about how to solve them. Thus, most solutions consist of adapting an existing solution rather than rethinking from first principles.
